Our process in eight steps

The Initial Client Meeting

We can meet with you via three different venues:

1. One of our representatives can have a meeting with you or your organization
2. A FaceTime/Zoom/Microsoft Team Meeting
3. Email/telephone
4. A visit to our Montreal showroom to have a better understanding of all the products and concepts firsthand.

The first conversation is to explain the process, provide product knowledge and for us to gather pertinent information package of documents, designs (if available) and additional information that you deem important for us to service your needs.

Initial Development / Client Matrix

With the gathered information from the initial meeting, we will assign a Product Manager and Merchandiser. Their roles will consist of:

– Creating, evolving, incorporation and realization of your design into a hat with you (the client) in tandem with our design team
– Determine your target prices, fabric content, hat construction, colors, packaging requirements, quantities needed and required timelines.
– All of this information will then be synthesized into a working matrix that you (the client) and your Do-Gree team will both share.

Establishing Factories to Meet Your Needs

With our many global factories w will ensure that we can meet your specific requirements and expectations.

This allows us to ensure that your requested delivery parameters will be met (MOQs, price targets, testing, etc.) The factory will meet all environmental and social compliance concerns.

Design & Development

The process of design will begin in a number of ways:

– If design concepts are provided by the client, our design department will expand and incorporate them into CADs (computer-aided designs) for your review.
– If no design concepts are available, our design team will work in conjunction with the client and develop various creative design concepts.
– A wide variety of available yarns and fabrications will be presented for your review and selection
– Color palette story boards will be developed for your review

Prototype Development Sampling

Upon having concluded all the prerequisites in design development, we will begin the process of building a prototype sample for your review.

In tandem with our design team and assigned merchandiser, our Shanghai office personnel will be the conduit with the factory which undertake the sample development.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the prototype sample should be produced within a 2-3 week period for client’s review.

Review and Prototype Product Editing

Our development team, in concert with the client, will review all comments (fit, fabrication and any additional requirements needed)

All artwork for sew-in labels, embellishments and hangtags will be prototyped and reviewed

With all relevant comments in hand, the factory will produce a 2nd prototype sample – to be received and reviewed within a 2-3 week period.

At this juncture, with the client’s satisfaction with the product, price and delivery dates, an official purchase order will be placed.

This prototype development phase and sampling process should now be concluded.

Pre-production, Bulk Production & Quality Control

We now begin the process of production after having received the client’s official purchase order with all pertinent information.

All yarns and fabrics will be ordered and dyed to client’s specifications (dye swatches will be submitted for approval)

All hangtags, sew-in labels and embellishments will be ordered as per the client’s prototype sample approvals.

Representatives from our Shanghai offices will visit and ensure quality control on all production.

Random production samples will be sent to our Montreal offices for further quality control inspection.

Exiting the Factory and Delivery

All products will be prepacked as per the client’s instructions.

Master cartons will be labeled with final delivery destinations. This may require multiple destinations to be determined by the client when developing the initial matrix.

Goods will be sent to our Shanghai forwarder or a forwarder of the client’s choice for consolidation.

Goods can be shipped F.O.B. Shanghai or landed-duty-paid to the client’s country of choice. Client will be advised of booked shipping vessel and estimated ETA.

A follow-up communication will be done to ensure client’s total satisfaction.
